Usually spiders prey on insects and other spiders. Of course it varies, from different species. For example, the Goliath spider eats: frogs, small snakes, beetles, insects, lizards, bats and young rats. Then you have the tarantula spider, which eat: crickets, cicadas, grasshoppers, sow bugs, caterpillars, and beetles. They also don't mind eating rodents, but they aren't preferred , due to the size of the tarantula. There are so many different species of spiders, that eat a variety of things; dead or alive.

Their usual food is insects and other spiders but some of the larger species have been seen to eat other small animals such as millipedes, wood lice (slaters), and even small lizards, frogs, and birds. But one kind of food that spiders normally do not eat is plant material.they usually catch their prey by building webs once they catch their prey in the web they wrap it around in more web and save to eat later on. Spiders build new webs everyday, they never go back to its previous web.

In the article, "The Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire", you learn about how past events can shape present-day legislation. What
Anestetic [448]

The Triangle shirtwaist factory fired led to legislation requiring improved factory safety standars and helped spur the growth of the international garment workers union, wich fought for better working conditions for people.

The reason of the fire in this factory was latter asumed by the mounds of shirt scrap under the working tables that catch on fire and above all the exit doors were closed, not allowing the working people to get out, diying from axfixation or because they jumped out of Windows.

Also the New York state Legislature created a Factory Investigation comisión to investigate the conditions in all the country and how to report measurements of legislation to prevent this kind of tragedy or unsanitary contition and ocupational diseases.

Sadly this legislation didn´t put anything on perspective because on September 3 of 1991 The Hamlet chicken processing plant was catch on fire because a Hidraulic line had a failure, sadly once again, the destinated fire doors were locked, leaving people trapped inside, investigators think that a safety inspection had prevented the disaster.

As a result, the federal goverment took a huge step on the worket safety laws, that now are applied on the USA.

As raeann approaches age 50, she probably relies less on __________ comparisons in judging her self-worth and more on __________
Mazyrski [523]

As Raeann approaches age 50, she probably relies less on social comparisons in judging her self-worth and more on temporal comparisons. The social comparison defines where individual's performance stands in the overall distribution, while the temporal comparison denotes whether performance is improved or deteriorated over time. Children on the other hand use social comparison (SC) for self-appraisal at an earlier age than they do temporal comparison (TC).

Example of a cultural lag in the U.S.? And why?
ioda

The following is an example of cultural lag in the United States and the reason why it has come into existence.

Virtual appointments with doctor:

 • Meeting the doctor virtually and not going to the clinic to see the doctor in person has become a new trend in the United States. Though this trend is not followed by many, it is gradually gaining acceptance in most parts of the country. This trend is slowly replacing the culture of seeing the doctor in person and getting a check-up done which has been in practice for centuries.
 • The reason this cultural lag has come into existence is that the technology is developing rapidly and changing how people interact with each other even person to person.
