What ways was Rome’s location similar to that of Constantinople?
ira [324]

Answer:

Explanation: The only similarity was that both had seven hills, but even these were quite different. For Constantine his making of a new capital for the eastern part of the empire served a good Propaganda tool. The city was presented as the mark of the dawn of a new era under his rule. Tittles such the second Rome, the new Rome, the eastern Rome and Alma Roma were used to glorify the undertaking. Constantine did model the new city on Rome. But all new towns were modelled on Rome in their civic area, and this did not necessarily make them look like Rome

What effects on sectionalism did the industrial revolution have?
Gnom [1K]
Sectionalism is the seperation bewteen two groups. Most all industry (factories) were in the North, and materials (such as cotton, sugar) were in the south. The south provided the north with raw materials and in return for goods/products. This caused sectionalism, because the North were generating more profits than the south. The south only had crops, and as the price of crops continued to go down, southerners were getting angry. The industrial revolution further divided the country, it was the urban vs. the rural.
