Enlightenment affect the political attitudes of colonists by questioning the British Monarchy authorities.

The Enlightenment has ideology of natural rights and this was against the idea of political attitudes of colonists and so did affected them. In response, colonists started to question the authorities or say the Monarchs of British colonies.

The Enlightenment, often seen in acquaintance with the Great Awakening, as both striking vigorously, brought into light the reasoning abilities and power of scientific research. The Great Awakening was regarded for the religious, social and emotional aptitude of awakening where nationalism was sparked with fire.
