During digestion of fats, the intestinal phase signals the simulation of the release of bile into the duodenum; this is in the small intestine. This aids in the digestion of lipids during the process of digestion.

The answer to this question would be the small intestine.

The bile is released into the small intestine to help to digest fat. Bile secretion will bind the fat so it will turn into many small groups. This will increase the surface area for the enzyme to work.
the esophagus is just a tunnel and stomach are not digesting fat. the large intestine is absorbing water.

From an evolutionary perspective, what adaptive value do mirror neurons have?
Akimi4 [234]

Mirror neurons are said to be the factors behind social imitation. Neurons are the main cell of the nervous system which is responsible for communication of organs and control of many bodily functions. In an evolutionary standpoint, mirror neurons are an advantage because humans are able to replicate and imitate skills, behaviors and practices which they find beneficial and advantageous in the wild. Among their social peers, mirror neurons help these individuals practice social inclusion through culture, values and practices for increased group cohesion and cooperation.

A plasmid _____________________________ . A. can confer antibiotic resistance to a bacterium. B. is a single-stranded circular D
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

The correct answer will be option A.

Explanation:

The bacteria organize its genetic material in the single circular chromosome suspended in the cytosol along with additional circular double-stranded DNA molecule called plasmid.

The plasmid is present as a separate structure in the cytoplasm which performs important functions during stressful conditions in the bacteria like providing antibiotic resistance to the bacteria, formation of filial factors during conjugation and many others.

The plasmid which confers resistant to the bacteria is known as the R-plasmid. The R-plasmid consists of r-determinants which confers antibiotic resistance to the bacteria and resistance transfer factor (RTF) which helps in plasmid transfer.

Thus, option A is the correct answer.

The increased activity prior to the saccade reflects a shift in attention to the stimulus inside that neuron's receptive field.

Explanation:

They observed that the neurological basis of attention, first made in the superior colliculus has been extended to a number of areas in both the dorsal and ventral streams.
