<span>The works of art described in the “House of Usher” might reflect the gothic and the dark within the story due to the fact that events are quite dark. It could be concluded that Roderick´s art have a clear connection to what happens in the house because he paints tombs and Madeline is entombed. He aosl sings about the decline of a house and his house declines. </span>
