Answer:

1).the Communist Party

Explanation:

The Communist Party of China is the political party that governs the People's Republic of China. With more than 89,000,000 members in 2017, it has become one of the largest political organizations in the world.

After its foundation in 1921, the Communist Party of China became one of the most influential political formations in China. In 1949, the party's army, called the People's Liberation Army, defeated the Kuomintang (KMT) nationalists in the Chinese Civil War. The CCP leader at the time, Mao Zedong, proclaimed the new People's Republic of China, under the leadership of the Communist Party.

The stage in which Mao occupied the power of the Communist Party of China was characterized by intense campaigns of economic and ideological reforms such as the Great Leap Forward or the Cultural Revolution. After the death of Mao in 1976, his successor Hua Guofeng would not manage to maintain power long, which would end up in the hands of Deng Xiaoping in 1978, pragmatic leader who would alter the ideological base of the Party allowing a series of institutional and economic reforms that would encourage the adoption of economic models of capitalist development. These reforms would intensify with the successors of Deng, first Jiang Zemin in 1993, Hu Jintao in 2002 and then Xi Jinping in 2012, current General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China.

The beast was said to eat human flesh on Chinese new years day. It was then discovered the same beast was scared of loud noise, fire, red color.

Hence, people began to light fires, paste red colorations on their doors, and light firecrackers all night to scare the beast away. Nian presently is used to refer to "year" or "new year".

VMariaS [17]

The correct answer is C, but technically D is also correct. John Wycliffe earned his doctorate in divinity at Oxford University and became a professor. He also became a priest, but used this position to speak out against the corruption and the heresy in the Catholic. He openly criticized the pope and the hierarchy of the Catholic church. He is well-known for translating the bible into common English, so people could read it themselves instead of having to rely on the forced interpretation of the church.
