Industrialization impacted many things such as kids not being able to live normal lives they had to work in mills. the air was polluted it was a bad and unhealthy environment to be in. it impacted urban immigration greatly people were coming from the country side to work in the cities since they were looking for jobs. cities were full of workers from the country side looking for jobs to fill , they needed a place to earn money.

Of course this occasionally went against national unity in the sense that some people were opposed to this plan, but in general they favored unity.
