CAN I GET SOME HELP PLEASE ???
Gnoma [55]

The 19th Amendment provided men and women with equal voting rights. The amendment states that the right of citizens to vote "shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex." It guaranteed women the constitutional right to vote. This amendment was necessary because the 15th amendment made it illegal for the federal or state government to deny any US citizen the right to vote. This amendment didn't include women, though. The 19th amendment changed this because it made it illegal for any citizen, regardless of gender, to be denied the right to vote. The movement to allow women the right to vote was the Suffrage movement. Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were two major figures in this movement. They campaigned against any amendment that denied women the right to vote.

Why is Abraham such an important figure in early Jewish history?
Natalija [7]

C. Abraham founded the Jewish religion and led the Israelites to

Canaan.

Explanation:

 • Abraham, the leader, led the tribes and they came to the promised land of Canaan.
 • Abraham felt that there would be fewer people and that it would be easier to handle livestock. However, there is very little arable land.
 • They cross the Red Sea and come to Egypt, which was already a regulated state.
 • They were enslaved there, enslaved for 500 years. Moses saves them from slavery, who transports them across the Red Sea and leads them to Jerusalem.

Which best describes president johnson’s influence during reconstruction? he had influence among republicans but not democrats.
aliya0001 [1]

During Reconstruction, Johnson's influence can be described as "He did not have the political support that Lincoln had."

Why did he not have political support?

Lincoln was a Republican and Congress was controlled by Republicans. Lincoln therefore had a lot of support in Congress.

Johnson on the other hand, was a Democrat who did not want the same things Republicans wanted. He therefore had little support in Congress, and was constantly overruled.

In conclusion, option D is correct.
