Answer:

a. heavy

b. light

Explanation:

Cold fronts occur when a mass of cold air advances towards lower latitudes since being heavier occupies the lower layers of the atmosphere. Its leading edge is inserted like a wedge between the ground and the hot air that weighs less, pushing it up. When rising in height, the water vapor cools and condenses, precipitating heavily in the form of torrential rains and heavy downpours .

Warm fronts are formed by the contact or collision of two masses of very humid and warm air that travels with other masses of cold air. The warm air is less dense and rises above the cold, heavier. When rising in height the water vapor of the warm front cools and condenses in height, finally precipitating causing drizzles and moderate rains.

Climates that are cold year round are
Elan Coil [88]
Polar.

The polar regions are cold year round because of the chill, polar air has a low capacity to evaporate water vapor in the air. The sun angle is fairly low throughout the year in polar areas. A significant amount of solar radiation that does reach the polar surface is reflected back into space.
