Answer:

a. heavy

b. light

Explanation:

Cold fronts occur when a mass of cold air advances towards lower latitudes since being heavier occupies the lower layers of the atmosphere. Its leading edge is inserted like a wedge between the ground and the hot air that weighs less, pushing it up. When rising in height, the water vapor cools and condenses, precipitating heavily in the form of torrential rains and heavy downpours .

Warm fronts are formed by the contact or collision of two masses of very humid and warm air that travels with other masses of cold air. The warm air is less dense and rises above the cold, heavier. When rising in height the water vapor of the warm front cools and condenses in height, finally precipitating causing drizzles and moderate rains.

The correct option is (iv) he had promised his mother he would not do so. It is indicated in the passage that "My mother, before consenting to my departure, had exacted a promise from me not to take meat. So, I was bound not to take it, if only for the sake of the promise.".

Using complete sentences, discuss some of the potential risks of bioengineered food.
DochEvi [55]
With bioengineered foods, you risk ingesting chemicals that are foreign to your body. If you ingest too much of the chemicals, your own body could be changed. For example, you have a natural orange. Scientists want to make your natural oranges bigger and sweeter, so they modify the DNA of the orange. With the modified DNA the new orange changed how it grew, increasing the number of natural chemicals (chemicals created by the orange to grow) it created. These chemicals are ingested by you, the consumer, and after eating your new oranges for a year every day, you notice you may have fertility issues, increased aging, etc. By eating bioengineered foods, you can find changes in your body that wouldn't have occurred if you stuck to that natural orange.

Hope this isn't too long and confusing.
