One advantage of using naturalistic observation over the case study method is looking at a much larger group supports application of the results to the general population. In addition, some significant evidences about naturalistic observation are: the particular reverse of naturalistic observation is named analog observation once altogether aspects are handled by examiners, naturalistic observation have need of the most careful note taking and in depth researcher participation, the three steps of naturalistic observation are description, prediction, and justification and the real world data that is collected has ecological validity that means the conditions studies happen in the real world.

Naturalistic Observation is a method or technique demand observing subjects in their environment. It involves natural setting compared to the case study method they are inefficient for rare exposures. One of the most important advantages of this method, it allows the researcher directly observe the subject in its natural setting, and it also allows the researcher to study things that it cannot be manipulated in a laboratory.

Pre-conventional:

stage 1: punishment and obedience orientation :

In this stage, the child modeled as he is good to avoid punishment. if someone punished him/ her do wrong things.

For example: Usually, children try to show themselves that they are good at their level but when their parents punished them at something then they did wrong to satisfy their ego.

 

stage 2: Instrumental relativist orientation:

In this stage, the children start to believe that there is not only one viewpoint behind the reason but other people's viewpoints also do matter and believe that different people have different viewpoints.

 

Conventional :

stage 3: Good boy; nice girl

stage 4: Law and order orientation
