Answer:

p=6+2 \sqrt{5}, p=6-2 \sqrt{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Given expression is (p-4)^{2}=4 p.

Step 2: To write the equation in the quadratic form, subtract 4p from both sides of the equation.

\Rightarrow(p-4)^{2}-4 p=4 p-4 p

\Rightarrow p^{2}-8 p+16-4 p=0

\Rightarrow p^{2}-12 p+16=0

\Rightarrow p^{2}-12 p=-16

Step 3 :Add\left(\frac{-12}{2}\right)^{2} on both sides of the equation.

\Rightarrow p^{2}-12 p+\left(\frac{-12}{2}\right)^{2}=-16+\left(\frac{-12}{2}\right)^{2}

\Rightarrow p^{2}-12 p+36=-16+36

\Rightarrow(p-6)^{2}=20

Step 4: Taking square root on both sides of the equation.

(p-6)=\pm \sqrt{20}

p=6 \pm 2 \sqrt{5}

Hence, p=6+2 \sqrt{5}, p=6-2 \sqrt{5}.

U first start of with writing the numbers from small to greatest so it will be 45,53,53,54,60,62,63,67,68 after that your min will be your smallest, 45 and your Max is 68 than for you mid you start off at both ends with your finger ( if needed) to get your middle which in this case, it’s 60. Now for your Q1 u do the exact same thing for mid but instead of you start from 45 to 60 which gets u to 53 as ur Q1. Finally for your Q3 you you starting off at 60 and ending at 68 and doing the same thing again ur Q3 will be 63.

GuDViN [60]

Answer:

The answer is 5 students.

Step-by-step explanation:

This problem is a division problem.

To solve, divide 4 by 4/5.

There is a strategy for this- Keep, Change, Flip.

Keep the dividend like it is, which is 4 or 4/1.

Change the division to multiplication.

And flip the divisor- 4/5 to 5/4.

When you multiply, you should get 20/4.

Simplify by dividing 20 by 4.

20 divided by 4 is 5.

So the answer is 5 students

Eddi Din [679]

Answer: Choice C

0 \le d \le 2

Graph with filled in circles at d = 0 and d = 2, shading in between

==========================================

Explanation:

d = amount downloaded in gigabytes

The smallest amount is d = 0. We cannot download a negative amount of data, so this is why d = 0 is the smallest.

The largest amount allowed is d = 2. This is the cap that the ISP has set up.

So basically d can be anything between d = 0 and d = 2, including both endpoints. This means 0 \le d \le 2

We use filled in circles for both endpoints to show to the reader "include these endpoints". Shading is done in between to show the entire solution set of possible d values. For instance d = 1 is in that region so it is possible to have this solution. Something like d = 4 is outside the region and not possible.
