The significance of the American Revolution to world history cannot be emphasized enough. As the first successful independence m

ovement of a European colony, the rebellion helped shape the thoughts of other, later movements. Think for a moment about how history would have been changed if the American Revolution hadn’t happened. Was there anything the colonists or the British government could have done differently to avoid the revolution? What would our world possibly look like today if the original 13 colonies hadn’t rebelled?

If the American Revolution hadn't of happened, we could still be under British Rule in America. The whole landscape of our lives would be changed. I don't see that the colonists could of done anything different because Britain didn't care about the colonists demands. The world would of looked different because many things would of never happened or things could of been worse since the U.S was not there to help. For example, WW1 and WW2 would of been entirely different without the help of America.
