Question

Technician A says a sway bar is used to control body lean when cornering. Technician b says that adding additional leafs to a leaf spring increases its capacity.

Which is correct?

A. Technician A only

B. Technician B only

C. Both Technician A and B

D. Neither Technician A nor B

Answer:

The correct answer is A.) Only technician A is correct.

Explanation:

Another name for sway bars, is stabilizer bars.

They are installed to ensure that your vehicle does not rollover. It is a U-shaped steel that is connected to each of the front wheels of the vehicle.

The bar resists the twisting force which is generated as one wheel moves in either direction vertically in relation to the other and as weight shifts from one part of the vehicle to the other. This can happen especially when one is turning a corner.

ElenaW [278]

Answer:

The Gandhara School or Greco-Buddhist School of art was inspired on Greco-Roman standards.

Gandhara Art shows the ancients Greeks influence by many ways:

Greek god as protection: Buddha is always under the protection of Hercules (Greek god)

The Artistic beauty: Buddha with the same appearance as Apollo (the god of the sun)

Explanation:

Alexander brought from Greece his soldiers with Greek religious, ideas and the art, specifically the sculptures of Olympian gods.

The indigenous religion was Buddhism.

But the influence Greeks create a challenge, as Indians started to turn to the conquerors religion. As consequence, in an area called Gandhara, the Buddhists started creating their own sculptures.

But in the lack of a prior indigenous sculptural tradition, they imitate their Greek rivals. The result was an impressive Greek-influenced Buddhist sculptural design.
