The relationship between pressure and the volume of gas. Boyle's law is the precursor to the ideal gas law in that Boyle's law states that the product of an ideal gasses pressure and volume remain constant as long as the temperature remains constant. The later ideal gas law added the concept of temperature and number of moles of gas particles.
