A dime's mass is 2.268 grams and is worth 10 cents. A quarter's mass 5.670 grams and is worth 25 cents. a pound of quarters is theoretically worth the same as a pound of dimes. But there is a cutoff that must be reached because we cannot have fractions of coins... <span>Quarters are vastly more useful, so</span> I would prefer the quarters to dimes :)
