1) Daniel Shays was someone that did not like that America took farmers land and he lead Shays rebellion with a bunch of farmers.

2) A group of protestors, led by Revolutionary War veteran Daniel Shays, began a 6 month rebellion by taking over the Court of Common Pleas in Northampton; the goal was to prevent the trial and imprisonment of debt-ridden citizens.

3) Armed rebellion in the newly-formed United States of America led to the creation of a stronger central government.

(The leaders realized that the Articles of Confederation were simply too weak. They knew the government plan had to be strengthened if the country was going to prosper and avoid any further rebellions or uprisings.)
