The environmental problems caused by human exploitation of the environment have caused many problems that will harm life on earth as a whole, including human beings that will be strongly affected. Deforestation, pollution, the frequent use of fossil fuels, the release of polluting gases, among other situations, have caused an environmental change, in addition to weakening the earth's protective ozone layer, leaving the planet unprotected from the sun's rays. This, in addition to causing dermatological problems, has stimulated the existence of global warming and extreme climate changes that have strongly harmed the environment. This increases the extinction of animals and plants and impairs food production, making life on earth increasingly difficult.

In a compare/contrast essay, you can choose to use a block method or go point by point. In a block method, you would have a whole section on your first thing and then a whole section on your second thing. In these sections, the differences and similarities would be evident. Or, you could go point by point and show how each thing is similar/different on each specific issue. </span>
One of the ways that Lyddie changes is in her attitude towards education. Over the course of the story, she comes to understand the value of formal learning, improving her reading skills by tackling more challenging books and setting herself the goal of attending Oberlin College. Initially, Lyddie arrived at the mill with the sole purpose of providing for her family. But in setting herself the ambitious goal of attending college, whole new vistas of opportunity have opened up to her. To a large extent, Lyddie had been forced to live her life prior to this point through her family, putting their needs ahead of her own. But by the end of the story, Lyddie's come to realize that she's an individual in her own right with her own life to lead. This is another important change that she experiences.
