Social Gospel reformers are differed from the early Christian reform movements by prioritizing social salvation over an individual salvation. The reason why they are wealthy, young, and educated is that, because they believe in laissez-fare capitalism's knowing that the labor as a commodity and it's unique reliance on a mechanism of supply and demand. They also supported the labor movement and called for an interventionist welfare state. Their ultimate vision is to have Christianized society.
