Charles Edward Anderson or known as Chuck Berry was an American musician, songwriter, and singer who is one of the pioneers of the rock and roll music. His music about teen life and consumerism features guitar solos and unique showmanship that made him a major influence on subsequent rock music. He was one of the first musicians that was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Many northern people believed that "its economic focus should become industrial rather than agricultural," since many people in the North were opposed to slavery, which was the dominant driving force of the agricultural economy.
During the American Revolution, he led the colonial forces to victory over the British and became a national hero. In 1787, he was elected president of the convention that wrote the U.S. Constitution.
