Using the slope-intercept form
y = mx + b

Then answering number

1. -3y + 20 = 5x
-3y + 20 = 5x
-3y = 5x - 20
y = -5/3 + 20/3

2. 4y - 6x = -5
4y - 6x = -5
4y = 6x - 5
y = 6/4x - 5/4
y = 3/2x - 5/4

Explain how to write 5/3 as a product of a whole number and a unit fraction.
irinina [24]
The answer is 1 and 2/3. 5/3 means 5 divided by 3. 5 goes into 3 once so the whole number is one. There is then 2 left so you are left with 2/3. 2 doesn't go into 3 so you leave it like that. This makes the answer 1 and 2/3 because 1 is the whole number and 2/3 is the unit fraction.
