The evidence for enlightenment in the American national anthem would be it repeated talk about equality, brotherhood, freedom, and similar ideas. These are at the very core of an enlightened movement.

The American anthem could be a literary composition (not originally supposed to be a song) written regarding the Battle of the city, throughout the War of 1812. It names America as "Land of the free and residential of the brave".

One of the best songs of the sixties that I have heard was “The Times They Are A Changing” by Bob Dylan.  Clearly this song reflects the growing change in attitude among the young during the sixties as if they were now showing their breaking away from the ideals and beliefs of their parents.  How they were now asserting their views for it was their time and they showed during that period in history.
