The main reason why vernacular literature eventually became the preferred way to produce books was because the "vernacular" of a specific language was the type of language that most people could understand--meaning that books that were written in the vernacular were far more likely to sell more copies than those written in, say, Latin.

The conditions of factories were horrible. There were fumes everywhere, there was no place to clean yourself up. Woman an children had to work usually about 10 hours or more a day. People would die and they would leave the bodies there. The way they could have fixed this is to improve sanitation and less work hours.
