One of the consequences of the New Deal was that the federal government gained a lot more prominence in the lives of people. The federal government became a lot more involved in many different areas, such as the economy. I believe that this was a positive change, as it allowed the government to intervene at a time when people desperately needed relief programs and assistance.

The Civilian Conservation Corps was a work relief program that operated between 1933 and 1942 as part of the New Deal. This government program provided manual labor jobs to young men in order to help conservation efforts and the development of natural resources in rural areas. This was a positive change as it provided jobs for unemployed people, while at the same time improving the natural ecosystems of the nation. Another example of a New Deal program was the Works Progress Administration. This organization employed men to carry out public works projects, such as the construction of buildings and roads. In a similar way to the Civilian Conservation Corps, this program allowed men to be employed whole at the same time improving cities for everyone.

Answer:

The new deal changed positively the united states society, economy, and culture. It employed different `programs to impulse the economy and help the most vulnerable. Read the full explanation below.

Explanation:

The new deal was a very positive policy initiative that former President Franklin D. Roosevelt proposed and carried on. It was a pack of government programs that focused on the help of the most vulnerable population groups in the U.S. It used all the federal power available to carry out the initiatives in all the sectors of the American population. One of the most effective programs was the agricultural adjustment act that helped balance the loss of agricultural producers to incentivize them to produce. Another effective program developed by it was the ´work Progress Administration, which managed to create 8.5 million jobs and rebuilt the nation's infrastructure. Without the new deal, president Franklin D. Roosevelt would have managed to recover the American spirit, the society, and the economy. It was a structural change, but it was worth it.

England passed laws in March, 1774, to punish the Massachusetts colony. By what name were these laws known in America?
Alexus [3.1K]
These laws were known in the colonies as the "Intolerable Acts," since they levied new taxes and restrictions on the colonists that many thought were outrageous. They were a major catalyst for the start of the revolution.
