Answer:

  (x, y) = (0, 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

For polar coordinates (r, θ), the corresponding rectangular coordinates are ...

  (x, y) = (r·cos(θ), r·sin(θ))

For r=1 and θ=π/2, the rectangular coordinates are ...

  (x, y) = (1·cos(π/2), 1·sin(π/2))

  (x, y) = (0, 1)

20. What is the order of rotational symmetry for each design (i.e. what is the angle of rotation to create
Minchanka [31]

Your answer should be:

<em>The order of rotational symmetry of a regular polygon is the same as the number of sides of the polygon. You can also deduce the order of rotational symmetry by knowing the smallest angle you can rotate the shape through to look the same. 180° = order 2, 120° = order 3, 90° = order 4. </em>

<em>I hope this helped :) </em>

Complete the table by converting each decimal to a fraction.
AlekseyPX

if you've read those links already, you'd know what we're doing here.

we'll move the repeating part to the left-side of the dot, by multiplying by "1" and as many zeros as needed, or 10 at some power pretty much.

on 0.13 we need 100 to get 13.13.... and on 0.1234, we need 10000 to get 1234.1234....

\bf 0.\overline{13}~\hspace{10em}x=0.\overline{13}&#10;\\\\[-0.35em]&#10;~\dotfill\\\\&#10;\begin{array}{|lll|ll}&#10;\cline{1-3}&#10;&&\\&#10;100\cdot 0.\overline{13}& = & 13.\overline{13}\\&#10;100\cdot x&& 13 + 0.\overline{13}\\&#10;100x&&13+x&#10;\\&&\\&#10;\cline{1-3}&#10;\end{array}\implies \begin{array}{llll}&#10;100x=13+x\implies 99x=13&#10;\\\\&#10;x=\cfrac{13}{99}&#10;\end{array}&#10;\\\\[-0.35em]&#10;\rule{34em}{0.25pt}\\\\&#10;0.\overline{1234}~\hspace{10em}x=0.\overline{1234}&#10;\\\\[-0.35em]&#10;~\dotfill

\bf \begin{array}{|ccc|ll}&#10;\cline{1-3}&#10;&&\\&#10;10000\cdot 0.\overline{1234}&=&1234.\overline{1234}\\&#10;10000\cdot x&=&1234+0.\overline{1234}\\&#10;10000x&=&1234+x&#10;\\&&\\&#10;\cline{1-3}&#10;\end{array}\implies \begin{array}{llll}&#10;10000x=1234+x&#10;\\\\&#10;9999x=1234\implies x=\cfrac{1234}{9999}&#10;\end{array}

Richard Saltwood’s car averages 620 miles on its 20-gallon tank of gas. If Richard runs out of gas and a mechanic comes to his r
grandymaker [24]
Well first you have to divide 620/20 which is 31. So his car goes 31 miles per gallon so you have 2 gallons and .25 of a gallon. So first off 2*31=62 miles then the 1/4 or .25. Multiply the 31 by .25 which is 7.75 now add 62 and 7.75 and you get how far his car can go.

62+7.75=69.75 miles
