1) Add the length of both bases:  [ Total Length = Length 1 + Length 2 ]

2) Divide the length that you found by 2. [ Average Length = Total Length ÷ 2 ]

3) Divide the Area with the length found  [ Height = Area ÷ average length ]

Answer:

<h3>d) </h3><h3>2 ({(2x)}^{2} + {(3y)}^{2} ) \\</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

{(2x + 3y)}^{2} + {(2x - 3y)}^{2} \\ (2x + 3y)(2x + 3y) + (2x - 3y)(2x - 3y) \\ 2x(2x + 3y) + 3y(2x + 3y) + 2x(2x - 3y) - 3y(2x - 3y) \\ {4x}^{2} + 6xy + 6xy + {9y}^{2} + {4x}^{2} - 6xy - 6xy + {9y}^{2} \\ {4x}^{2} + 12xy + {9y}^{2} + {4x}^{2} - 12xy + {9y}^{2} \\ {4x}^{2} + {9y}^{2} + {4x}^{2} + {9y}^{2} \\ {8x}^{2} + {18y}^{2} \\ 2( {4x}^{2} + {9y}^{2} ) \\ 2( {2}^{2} {x}^{2} + {3}^{2} {y}^{2} ) \\ 2({(2x)}^{2} + {(3y)}^{2}) \\
