People all over the world react similarly when they are reunited with loved ones. for example, if you watch people greeting each

other at family reunions, they tend to have the same joyful expressions on their faces, no matter what country they come from. this similarity can be attributed to: our family upbringing being so similar. our cultures being so similar. our shared human genome. random errors in gene replication.

Our shared human genome. Let's look at the options and see what makes sense and what doesn't. A. Our family upbringing being so similar. * Nope. We're talking completely different cultures and as such completely different upbringing. So this conclusion isn't reasonable at all. So this is a bad choice. B. Our cultures being so similar. * Nope. Different cultures, different languages, different ways of looking at things. So an unreasonable conclusion and a bad choice. C. Our shared human genome. * We do share a common genome. So this is the best choice so far. Let's see if there's something better as a later choice. D. Random errors in gene replication. * Random errors would imply different responses. So this conclusion doesn't make sense and is therefore a bad choice. So the only reasonable choice is the choice indicating something that we share in common with many different cultures. That being our genome. So option "C" is the best choice.

How did internment camps make Japanese-Americans feel?
miv72 [106K]

Japanese American internment happened during World War II when the United States government forced about 110,000 Japanese Americans to leave their homes and live in internment camps. These were like prisons. ... On December 7, 1941, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in Hawaii and declared war on the United States.

Japanese Americans died in the camps due to inadequate medical care and the emotional stresses they encountered. Several were killed by military guards posted for allegedly resisting orders.

nexpensive foods such as wieners, dried fish, pancakes, macaroni and pickled vegetables were served often. Vegetables, which had been an important part of the Japanese Americans' diet on the West Coast, were replaced in camp with starches.

In what year did Texas become a one-party Republican system, substantially changing Texas party politics
worty [1.4K]

Texas changed from a one party Democratic state to a one party Republican state with the 1980 presidential election of Ronald Reagan.

The Republican party developed dramatically in Texas during the Reconstruction Era, post constitutional amendments freeing the slaves giving suffrage to black males. After the Reconstruction Era, the Republican party of Texas gradually lost power and the Democrats passed disfranchising laws near the turn of the century requiring poll taxes be paid prior to voter registration, with parties establishing white primaries , black voting dropped.

As a result, the biggest base of electoral support for the Republican party in Texas was German Texan community. The first Republican statewide primary was held in 1926, but drew only 15, 239 voters as by the disfranchisement was well established and Texas was essentially a one- party state.
