The Articles of Confederation represented the Americans distrust of ‘A Strong Central Government’.

Further Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation was the agreement within the 13 States of USA which were part of the first constitution. This article was approved by the then government after much debate and consideration in 1777 and then was sent to the states for ratification. Once all 13 states gave their approval in regards to The Articles of Confederation, it was implemented and it came into force 1781. The main idea behind Article of Confederation was that the states will retain full sovereignty over the governmental functions other then issues related to foreign policies, commercial agreements, diplomatic relations with other countries and decisions related to War and Peace. This article clearly showed that there was distrust among the people of United States of America in regards to a strong central government within the country which takes all the actions and makes all the laws for the welfare of the country. People wanted that the respected state to which they represent to should be the final authority to take decisions in respect to laws or rules and regulations of the state they live in. When the Article of Confederation was submitted to the states for ratification, Virginia was the first state to ratify it.

pav-90 [236]
Passover was when the Lord killed all the first born children in Egypt but PASSED OVER the children of Israel. People can't do anything of worth for God. all our works are like filty rags to him. What the people did for God to pass over them is they obeyed Him by painting the blood of a lamb on the doorpost (which is what He commanded them to do). God chose them, they didn't chose God.

Why does Lincoln make so many references on the American revolution
aniked [119]

Answer:

Lincoln probably made so many referances to the American Revolution because of the Civil War at the time considering that the South wanted some sort of independance from the North because they thought they needed slavery and the American Revolution was so that America could become independant and not be ruled by Britain anymore, so that is why he probably referred a lot to the American Revolution.
