Answer:

9π cm - exact value

28.26 cm - approximate value

Step-by-step explanation:

C = πd =9π cm - exact value

or

C=9π≈ 28.26 cm - approximate value

Let T: set of real numbers R Superscript nℝnright arrow→set of real numbers R Superscript mℝm be a linear transformation, and
Klio2033 [76]

Answer:

\{T(v_1), T(v_2), T(v_3)\} is linearly dependent set.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:  \{v_1,v_2,v_3\} is a linearly dependent set in set of real numbers R

To show: the set \{T(v_1), T(v_2), T(v_3)\} is linearly dependent.

Solution:

If \{v_1,v_2,v_3,...,v_n\} is a set of linearly dependent vectors then there exists atleast one k_i:i=1,2,3,...,n such that k_1v_1+k_2v_2+k_3v_3+...+k_nv_n=0

Consider k_1T(v_1)+k_2T(v_2)+k_3T(v_3)=0

A linear transformation T: U→V satisfies the following properties:

1. T(u_1+u_2)=T(u_1)+T(u_2)

2. T(au)=aT(u)

Here, u,u_1,u_2∈ U

As T is a linear transformation,

k_1T(v_1)+k_2T(v_2)+k_3T(v_3)=0\\T(k_1v_1)+T(k_2v_2)+T(k_3v_3)=0\\T(k_1v_1+k_2v_2+k_3v_3)=0\\

As \{v_1,v_2,v_3\} is a linearly dependent set,

k_1v_1+k_2v_2+k_3v_3=0 for some k_i\neq 0:i=1,2,3

So, for some k_i\neq 0:i=1,2,3

k_1T(v_1)+k_2T(v_2)+k_3T(v_3)=0

Therefore, set \{T(v_1), T(v_2), T(v_3)\} is linearly dependent.

At a recent party it cost $9.50 for refreshments for 10 guest.at this rate,how much would it cost to have refreshment for 80 gue
Talja [164]
For 80 guests you will need 80/10 = 8 times more than for 10 guests:

8*9.50 = $76

Refreshment for 80 guests costs $76.

two sides of a triangle measures 25 cm + 35 CM which of the following would be the measure of the third side
Oxana [17]
Assuming those are the legs of the triangle and that you need to find the hypotenuse... I would use the formula: a^2+b^2=c^2
It doesn't matter what a and b are, just fill it in.
25^2+35^2=c^2
625+1225=c^2
1850=c^2
Take the square root of 1850, it isn't a perfect square so I got: 43.01.
If you want, just round it to 43, idc.
So, if I were to check my work, I would need to remember that the hypotenuse is the longest side.
Since 43 is the hypotenuse, it is the longest side.
