The most typical form of monumental architecture used in Mesoamerica was the pyramid. Pyramids were often perceived as artificial mountains, and they represented attempts by the ruling elites to construct a symbolic landscape.

Pyramids were used not only as temples and focal points for Maya religious practices where offerings were made to the gods but also as gigantic tombs for deceased rulers, their partners, sacrificial victims, and precious goods.

Can you think of any problems that could come from using only 15 years of data to predict trends for the next 100 years? Explain
pentagon [3]

Explanation:

A major problem with using 15 years of data to predict 100 years of data is that the 15 years could have been setting a trend, then level off.

For example, if the 15 years of data was a graph, and it was going up every year, then what if 20 years into the 100 years it stops going up? Then that means the data was invalid because there wasn't enough to base any trends off of.

You can prevent this from happening by extending the collection time of data and to reduce the amount of time that the data will be used to predict.

Hope this helps!

What has created the poverty-stricken communities in Chile’s capital, Santiago?
mixer [17]

Answer:

Illegal immigration

Explanation:

Illegal migration from Haiti has increased in Chile, which has put the government to take strict actions. Many migrants are coming to Chile, putting pressure on social services and causing local outrage. Chile's strong and steady economic, increasing GDP along with a low level of corruption attracted the poverty-stricken communities. Haitians are the majority of the illegal migrants who came to Santiago after the earthquake in their country in 2012.
