Though many may not realize, plastic water bottles are extremely harmful to our community. The water within them is consumed within seconds, and afterwards many become litter for our roadways. Even when properly disposed of, these water bottles remain issue. Plastic water bottles are being used faster than they can be recycled. Many people have converted to using an eco-friendlier option, dishwasher-safe bottles that can be used countless times. Many may think re-useable water bottles are too expensive, difficult to clean, or simply refuse to drink tap water, but the truth is the pros of re-useable water bottles heavily outweigh the cons. Countless studies show that tap water provides the same hydration as bottled water, and for some it is even easier to attain. There are many solutions to your re-useable water bottle problems, many of which cost less than the amount of money you spend on bottled water every year. Re-useable water bottles come in a variety of styles, sizes, and colors. Additionally, landfills constantly struggle to break down the large amount of plastic disposed there, so what’s a little inconvenience as to saving our planet?
