What is Plato's opinion of tyranny as a way of governing a state?

History
1 answer:
givi [52]3 years ago

He disliked tyranny because he believed that tyrants are easily corrupt and have too much power. His idea was that of an oligarchy where philosophers would be in charge and decide together on what needs to be done. People couldn't vote for them or similar things so it would be a bit  authoritarian.

Lilit [14]
The answer is 2: to increase the amount of land available for agriculture.

Reason:
If I remember correctly from Geography last year that is called terrace farming. Common practice in hilly areas where you would be unable to plant crops. Instead, they flatten that out and have “steps” that gives them flat land to grow crops, often rice.

What was the purpose of religious camp meetings in the early 1800s?
Ugo [173]

My answer is c.They created an opportunity for followers to profess their faith and commitment to God. Many settlers during this period had difficulty finding a place to profess their faith.  There were no churches to say mass and there were few ministers.  Holding these camps enabled them to profess their faith.
