My answers are Part A is. A, and Part B is C.

Explanation:

The reason is becuase at the beginning she is nervous about being paired it shows up right at the beginning when she says "My biggest fear that she would be signed up for the 10 mile Hike and the whole time scoffing at our inferior endurance." For the second part you don't need to think that hard becuase it easy to combined them and see that the 3rd option makes the most sense.

Read the paragraph.

Based from reading this short passage, I believe that the authors point in this above was to practically give information above the word "solar flares". And by the author doing this, he would be giving the reader citing points of this.

Your answer: It cites expert testimony about solar flares.

I would say that this would most likely be the answer mainly because when citing, this would mean that there would be an expert that would study basic needs and understanding this kind of things to understand.

Which of the following are dependent clauses (Choose 2)
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

1 and 2 are the dependent clauses

Explanation:

If someone wrote you a letter that just had "Mrs. Basel, Mrs. Bates, and Mrs. Wonders" on it, you'd be pretty confused at what message they were trying to convey, same with "Are pretty legit teachers." However, if you received a letter with just "I love ELA!" or "Reading makes me happy" on it, you'd understand the message just fine. 3 and 4 can be spoken normally on their own; however, 1 and 2 need another clause to make sense.
