Hey there! :D

So, the angle measuring 100 degrees is supplementary to the angle that is adjacent to it, next to the one that is 60 degrees.

180-100= 80

It is 80 degrees.

80+60+x= 180

140+x= 180

Subtract 140 on both sides.

x=40

40 is the answer.

I hope this helps!

Given the formula b=rs/t solve for s
Gekata [30.6K]

Answer:

s = \frac{bt}{r}

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve for s, you need to follow these steps.

First multiply by t both sides of the equation.

b = \frac{rs}{t}

bt = \frac{rst}{t}

We get bt = rs

Now we divide by r, both sides of the equation.

\frac{bt}{r} = \frac{rs}{r}

Finallly we obtain:

\frac{bt}{r} = s or

s = \frac{bt}{r}

Triangle ABC is shown below.
Andrew [12]

Answer:

C.) 14

Step-by-step explanation:

Look at the triangle: angles b and c have the same arch, so they are congruent.

In a triangle, if two angles are congruent, then the triangle is isosceles, having two equal sides.

The sides opposite the congruent angles are congruent:

∠B → opposite side → AC

∠C → opposite side → AB

The sides AB and AC are equal. Make an equation:

AB=AC\\\\2x=3x-7

Simplify the equation, solving for x. Add 7 to both sides:

2x+7=3x-7+7\\\\2x+7=3x

Subtract 2x from both sides:

2x-2x+7=3x-2x\\\\7=x

The value of x is 7. Insert the value of x into the given length of AC:

AC=3(7)-7

Simplify multiplication:

AC=21-7

Subtract:

AC=14

Therefore, the length of the line segment AC is 14.

g. the sequence goes by adding the consecutive odd number added to the previous number.

first number= 3.

second number= 3+3

= 6

third number= 6+5

= 11

fourth number= 11+7

= 18

fifth number= 18+9

= 27

sixth number= 27+11

= 38

a table is 6 feet long and 3 feet wide. you extend the table by inserting two identical table/leaves. the longest side length of
Molodets [167]

Yep... so they says that the area of the extended leaf is 18+6x... You know that the area is length into breath... here the breath doesn't change.. so it'll be 3ft... can get the length by dividing area by 3... that is 6+2x... Now the new length wil be 2times that plus the previous 6ft length
