A Dressmaker used 2.8 meters of cloth and 0.8 meters of lace to make each dress. Each meter of cloth cost $2.70 and each meter of lace cost 4.90. If she made 16 such dresses how much did she spend in all? P.S If you get the answer. Tell me how you got it. Thanks!

 (2.8)*(2.70) + (0.8)*(4.90)= 11.48$
 16 Dressmakers
 (16)*(11.48)= 183.68$
  she spend in all 183.68$
