Each friend spent $50 (50+50+50= 150)
Sarah spent twice as much as them150*2=300
altogether they spent $150+$300= $450

They would have $250 all together

First you would calculate Sarah's number of friends times $50:

3 * 50 = 150

Then you multiply Sarah's amount by 2, or 50 x 2, which would be 100.

Lastly you add 150 and 100 =

$250

(If Sarah doubled all of her friends, the answer would be 300)

scoray [572]

Answer:

6 cups of flour

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

the ratio of the recipe=(1 1/2)/(3/4)

1 1/2=1.5 cups of flour

3/4 stick of butter-------> 0.75 stick of butter

by proportion

1.5/0.75=x/3---------> 3*1.5=0.75*x

x=3*1.5/0.75----------> x=6 cups of flour

2x-4/5=4<br> plsss answer quick
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

<h2>x = 12</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{2x - 4}{5}  =4

First of all multiply through by 5 to eliminate the fraction

That's

5 \times  \frac{2x - 4}{5}  = 4 \times 5 \\ 2x - 4 = 20

Next using the addition property add 4 to both sides of the equation

We have

2x - 4 + 4 = 20 + 4 \\ 2x = 24

<u>Divide both sides by 2</u>

\frac{2x}{2}  =  \frac{24}{2}

We have the final answer as

<h3>x = 12</h3>

Hope this helps you
