In what ways were the policies of Gorbachev, Yeltsin, and Putin similar?
gayaneshka [121]
One of the main ways in which the policies of Gorbachev, Yeltsin, and Putin were similar is that they all sought to avoid nuclear war with the west--knowing that engaging in such a conflict would no doubt lead to their utter destruction.

What nation joined the Allied war effort in 1917?
Korvikt [17]

The nation that joined the war in 1917 was the United states but not necessarily as part of the allies, rather America had opted to fight Germany, an enemy of the allies, more as an associate ally to protect its own interests.

American went to war to stop German aggression and spread values of democratic freedom and made decisive contributions to the final battles of 1918.

The Americans decided neutrality would not do when German aggression on the high seas went on to such an extent that it threatened U.S. national security, and so the Germans had to be stopped.

The correct answer is C: drafted a new constitution.

The coup d'etat in Brasil in 1964 overthrew the reformist government of President Joao Goulart and established an authoritarian regime controlled by the armed forces that lasted until 1985.

After the change of government, the new regime kept the 1946 constitution but wanted to change it because the measures they took in the country were against it.

A new constitution was written by a team of lawyers supporting the new oppressive system. The main feature of the new constitution of 1967 were: restriction of political rights, restriction of civil rights, removal od all privileges for judges, strengthening the role of the State Military Police, the control of political parties, giving more power to the president.

Amendments to the constitution were drafted in 1969.
