A thesis for a historical essay is a one sentence summary of what you're going to talk about in your essay.

It should contain the question in a restated form (Ex: if the question is, "What was the effects of the Enlightenment?" The your thesis should say, "The effects of the Enlightenment are…") And it should contain your points you're going to discuss/argue etc.

behind” strategy.

The historical record shows, however, that U.S. foreign policy decisions have

often favored security interests over democratization and human rights concerns.

From the academic point of view, different theories of International Relations

consider various aspects of the international or domestic scenarios as more or

The correct answer is B) state government officials in the United States.

B.state government officials in the United States will enforce this document.

The text states that: "That on the first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three, all persons held as slaves within any State or designated part of a State, the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States, shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free; and the Executive Government of the United States, including the military and naval authority thereof, will recognize and maintain the freedom of such persons, and will do no act or acts to repress such persons, or any of them, in any efforts they may make for their actual freedom ..."

This was part of President AbrahamLincoln's proclamation about slavery on January 1, 1863.

Where is the most favorable climate of Brazil? coastal plain, Amazon lowlands, central highlands, or southern region
lutik1710 [3]
This question is a little ambiguous as it doesn't give reference to what 'favourable' is but I've attached a diagram that depicts the different types of climate in Brazil to help.

(This is more of a geography question than history)
