Work out the value of angle x and how ??
frutty [35]

Answer:

160 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: A straight line is 180 degrees. So 180 - 100, is 80 degrees. as the opposite angle measurement of the 100 degree.

Step 2: An isosceles triangle has two equal angle measurements, so two of its angles are 80 degrees.

Step 3: All angles in a triangle equal 180 degrees. So add them up (we will call the missing angle, Z)     180 = 80+80+Z.      which equals 180= 160+z

Step 4: Solve it. You subtract 160 from both side which comes out to 20 = Z.

Step 5: Now you have the opposite angle of X. Going back to step 1, A straight angle is 180 degrees. 180 - 20 = 160. X = 160 degrees

What is 50% of 64?
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

50% = 50/100 = 0.5

20% = 20/100 = 0.2

25% = 25/100 = 0.25

10% = 10/100 = 0.1

Now let's begin our calculation

50% of 64=(0.5*64)=32

20% of 55=(0.2*55)=11

25% of 16 = (0.25*16) =4

10% of 200=(0.1*200)=20

20% of 86=(0.2*86)=17.2

Determine which lines, if any, are parallel or perpendicular. Explain.
Orlov [11]

Answer:

line a and b are parallel, there is no perpendicular lines

Step-by-step explanation:

Looking at the slope of each line, you can identify whether the lines are parallel, perpendicularlar, or neither.

When the slopes are the same, they are parallel.

When the slopes have opposite sign and numerator and denominator flipped, they are perpendicular. Ex. \frac{a}{b} and -\frac{b}{a} are perpendicular slopes.

Finding slope is using the formula: \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2} -x_{1} }

Line a has slope  \frac{3-4}{4-0} = -\frac{1}{4}

Line b also has slope -\frac{1}{4}

Line c has slope 2

Since slope of line a and b are same, they are parallel.

Line c is not perpendicular to line a and b because the slope should have opposite sign and numerator and denominator flipped, which is 4 not 2.
