<span>How did Mesopotamia (Ancient Iraq) become civilized?
Mesopotamia became civilized after people groups came together, and started to create city-states, and they started to have common languages, traditions, and also started writing, which gradually led to the increase of knowledge, which helped propel the civilizations forward in technology. They also learned to create tools that helped them in their everyday tasks, which also made them more 'civilized', as 'civilized' means to be considered more advanced.
How did the fertile region help them do so?
The fertile region helped them do so, because people need to eat, and because of that, they either have to plant food or gather wild-plants. The fertile region is called 'fertile region', because the soil is rich in nutrients, which helped farming. On top of that, the place gets more rainfall than the desert (because they are near a ocean). This resulted in the soil in the area to be much more richer and better.
What is the Fertile Crescent?
The fertile crescent is a crescent shaped area that is located from north-east Egypt and present day Israel to the extent of Ancient Babylon's empire (present-day Iraq). The Fertile Crescent was named like that because it is generally surrounded with Desert, and is one of the best farmlands in the area.
What have the people of Ancient Iraq given us? (Like, how did we change our lives because of them? And, how did this civilization make it easier to live life?
Ancient Iraq, or Mesopotamia invented many things, including metal & copper-working, glass-making, lamp-making, the creation of textiles, and even levees. This makes it easier to live in, because it created more areas for people to live, and it gives people a certain control over nature, and allows them to continue to thrive in the years.
