There were never any "golden ages" or a "middle age" historians only use these terms to help refer to past "major events" in history according to their research and discoveries. Moreover, historic figures, past leaders, ancient civilizations didn't identify times in their lives using any of these terms therefore, historians used these terms to further help them analyze history.
