Answer: x = 1043.33

Step-by-step explanation:

3125 = 5-10 + 3x

Subtract 5-10 = -5

3125= -5 + 3x

Combine like terms

3125 + 5 = 3x

3130 = 3x

Divide both sides by 3

x = 3130/3

x = 1043.33

Each page of a photo album holds three rows of four square photos. The area of each photo is 25 cm². There is 2 cm space between
Feliz [49]
<span>32 cm wide by 25 cm tall. Since each photo is square and has an area of 25 cm², that means that the length of each edge of the photos is 5 cm. So the length of a page (2 border gaps + 4 photos + 3 spacing gaps) is 2*3 + 4*5 + 3*2 = 32 cm The height of a page (2 border gaps + 3 photos + 2 spacing gaps) is 2*3 + 3*5 + 2*2 = 25 cm So the page size is 32 cm x 25 cm</span>

How many parts should be sampled in order to estimate the population mean to within 0.1 millimeter (mm) with 95% confidence? Pre
tekilochka [14]

Answer:

At least 1245 parts should be sampled.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have that to find our \alpha level, that is the subtraction of 1 by the confidence interval divided by 2. So:

\alpha = \frac{1-0.95}{2} = 0.025

Now, we have to find z in the Ztable as such z has a pvalue of 1-\alpha.

So it is z with a pvalue of 1-0.025 = 0.975, so z = 1.96

Now, find the margin of error M as such

M = z*\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}

In which \sigma is the standard deviation of the population and n is the size of the sample.

How many parts should be sampled in order to estimate the population mean to within 0.1 millimeter (mm) with 95% confidence?

This is at least n parts, in which n is found when M = 0.1, \sigma = 1.8

M = z*\frac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}

0.1 = 1.96*\frac{1.8}{\sqrt{n}}

0.1\sqrt{n} = 1.96*1.8

\sqrt{n} = \frac{1.96*1.8}{0.1}

(\sqrt{n})^{2} = (\frac{1.96*1.8}{0.1})^{2}

n = 1244.67

Rouding up

At least 1245 parts should be sampled.

I need THREE points to plot on a graph -3y=5x-7
Alekssandra [29.7K]
Your first step should be marking the y intercept which is the easiest. (0, -7/3)

Afterwards find the slope which is 5/3. Use this to find the x intercept which is (7/5,0)

And just add the slop to the x intercept and find another point.

Here are some answers you can put:  (0, -7/3) (7/5,0) (2,1) (1, -2/3)

Please mark brainliest if you can:) I tried to be helpful
