The traditional economy is based on customs and tradition. In the traditional economy, it produces what is best for its survival. The methods of production remain stagnant and there is no disagreement over the economic goals and roles. Its disadvantages are it resists economic changes which make them less productive than they might be with new approaches. They also prevent people from doing what they wanted. In the traditional economy, they have a lower standard of living.
