Julian is in the preparation stage of health behavior change.

Explanation:

Transtheoretical model of behavioral change, developed by Prochaska has six stages such as precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action, maintenance, and termination. Each stage has the one emphasis. In the first stage that is precontemplation, the person will not think about themselves and their behaviors. They will not even know that their behavior has some effects on others.

In the second stage, contemplation, people will know that their behavior has some effects on others. They will tr to understand that they should at least change them in future. They will evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of changing those things giving equal importance to both. in the third stage, preparation stage, they will take necessary steps for changing those behavior and they will be taking small small steps to change it. Here, Julian has taken steps to eradicate the problem and to attain a good health. Thus he is in preparation stage.
