Answer:

The best option is A) He used to have some strong sense of belonging in his family.

Explanation:

Ebenezer Scrooge is the main character in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. He is an old grumpy man who seems to hate everyone and everything around him. Not even Christmas time seems to be able to warm his heart.

Scrooge is visited by three spirits who show him his own history, always with visions related to Christmas. In the excerpt we are analyzing here, Fan, Scrooge's sister is the family member who gives him a sense of belonging. Even though his own father is usually a tough man to deal with, Fan makes Scrooge happy by telling him they are going home together, and he treats her with kindness.

At the beginning of the story, what is Angie’s attitude?
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

She thinks she’s the only one competent to organize the event.

Explanation:

Even though Angie has all the help of her friend and Krim, at the beginning she still believes that she is the only one capable of organizing things. She even gets angry when Karim tells her that friends are willing to help her.

Even though she is overwhelmed with the tasks that have to be finished on time, she refuses help. Luckily, as the story continues, she changes her mind.
