I believe the answer is the second one. As you can clearly see, there is no drastic contrast between the side going vertical and the side going horizontal, so they're approximately the same length. Then the diagonal one is notably longer than the other two. You really can't choose the others because not all of them have a different length than another, they're obviously not of the same length, and the diagonal line isn't quite long enough to be the sum of the other two.

Answer:

Option Two sides have the same length which is less than the length of the third side

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

The right triangle of the figure has two legs and one hypotenuse

The length sides of the two legs are the same, because is a 45\°-90\°-45\° triangle

The third side is the hypotenuse and the hypotenuse is always greater that the legs

therefore

The answer is

Two sides have the same length which is less than the length of the third side

Greg spent 6.4 hours working with his dad one Saturday. If his dad paid him$45.76, how much did Greg make per hour?
nordsb [41]

Answer:

$7.15

Step-by-step explanation:

The best way to solve this is by crossing out the data you don't need so you're left looking at the key pieces to put the equation together. If his dad paid him $45.76 for 6.4 hours, then all you need to do is divide 45.76 by 6.4. (Hint: Use a calculator, it makes it ten times faster than trying to write it out!)

45.76 ÷ 6.4 = 7.15

So Greg made $7.15 an hour working with his dad.

Find the product of z1 and z2, where z1 = 7(cos 40° + i sin 40°) and z2 = 6(cos 145° + i sin 145°).
Oduvanchick [21]
For two complex numbers z_1=re^{i\theta}=r(\cos\theta+i\sin\theta) and z_2=se^{i\varphi}=s(\cos\varphi+i\sin\varphi), the product is

z_1z_2=rse^{i(\theta+\varphi)}=rs(\cos(\theta+\varphi)+i\sin(\theta+\varphi))

That is, you multiply the moduli and add the arguments. You have z_1=7e^{i40^\circ} and z_2=6e^{i145^\circ}, so the product is

z_1z_2=7\times6(\cos(40^\circ+145^\circ)+i\sin(40^\circ+145^\circ)=42(\cos185^\circ+i\sin185^\circ)=42e^{i185^\circ}

2.) Bob has two weekend jobs. Last weekend he made a total of $77 after
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

x= money earned per hour working as a cashier.

y=money earned per hour working delivering newspapers.

We propose the following system of equations:

5x + 4y =77

6x + 3y=78

We solve the system by reduction method:

-6*(5x+4y=77) ⇒  -30x-24y=-462

5*(6x+3y=78)⇒     30x+15y=390

                             ---------------------------

                                     -9y=-72  ⇒   y=-72 /-9=8

Now, we get the value of "x" replacing the value of "y" by "8" in any part of the equation above.

5x + 4(8)=77

5x+32=77

5x=77-32

5x=45

x=45/5=9

therefore;

money earned per hour working as a cashier= $9/ hour

money earned per hour working delivering newspapers=$8/hour
