The Dead Sea is a unique and very interesting sea in many respect, such as being the most saline in the world, or being located in the lowest elevation.

Explanation:

The Dead Sea is a body of water located in Israel. Despite having ''sea'' in its name, it is actually a lake, as it doesn't have direction connection to any other sea or ocean waters. This lake/sea is located in an arid area, and it is fed with water from river water, which so far is enough to balance the enormous rate of evaporation.

The most striking traits of Dead Sea are:

  • It is located in the lowest elevation in the world
  • It has the highest salinity of any sea/lake
  • It lacks life, apart from some bacteria
  • A person can float on the water and not sink without doing anything

The Dead Sea is located in the deepest depression in the world, right where the the Eurasian and Arabian plate have their boundary. Because of its origin, being remnant from the ancient ocean Tethys, and the arid surroundings, the lake has highly saline water. Because the water is so highly saline, apart from some bacteria, nothing else can survive in this lake. The salinity is so high, that increases the density of the water to a point where a person can just lie on the water and not be able to sink even if they wanted to. Lately, the Dead Sea has became a big tourist attraction, and millions of people from around the world visit it and stay in the resorts on its shore.

Why has religion been relevant to humankind for so long?
denpristay [2]

Answer:

Due to strong believe towards God

Explanation:

Believing that God has a plan helps people regain some sense of control, or at least of acceptance. Another motivational factor is self-enhancement. If you live in a society where religion is prized, it's in your best interest to say you believe, whether you truly do or not. I think God are made by humans to control Violence and inhumanity among Humans but Religion leads peoples to superstation believes which is more dangerous. There is conflicts among people in the name of religion Bc there are so many religions.
