A. Cathy is more judgmental of other. For example Cathy shows how the racist views of Anglo-American society views toward the Latinos moving onto Mango Street which holds that the neighborhood is deteriorating simply because the Latinos are arriving. Meanwhile, Cathy’s family is no better than Esperanza’s, and Cathy must also create a dream of a better life for herself – that she is related to royalty.

The narrator characterizes Edwin as someone who Choose 1 answer: has never known a different way of life. does not respect his e
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

Has just begun to develop survival skills

Explanation:

An excerpt from the story supports that: "As he went along he smelled things, as well, his distended, quivering nostrils carrying to his brain an endless series of messages from the outside world. Also, his hearing was acute, and had been so trained that it operated automatically. Without conscious effort, he heard all the slight sounds in the apparent quiet—heard, and differentiated, and classified these sounds—whether they were of the wind rustling the leaves, of the humming of bees and gnats, of the distant rumble of the sea that drifted to him only in lulls, or of the gopher, just under his foot, shoving a pouchful of earth into the entrance of his hole."

From the above excerpt, we can deduce that Edwin was actually developing his survival skills. In developing his survival skills, his smelling, feeling and hearing organs were alert and firm. When the bear came, Edwin stood firm without running away. He was able to make the bear to leave them. Edwin was building experience and skills which might be relevant.

During am exam you are asked to write one paragraph describing a character from one of your favorite novels which outline format
sergejj [24]

1. You might want to lead with the name, which is might already clear out if it's a man or a woman. it might save you a few words.

Then you want to add a reference, maybe the novel or world that your favorite character is from, the ethnicity or race, geographic location or where the character lives now.

Then you might add what is the character's occupation. Maybe add the character's passion as well. Try to be concise.

In the end, you might want to list what you find interesting about the character. Achievements, hobbies and so on.

Here is a quick example:

Legolas is an elven prince of the Wood Elves of northern Milkwood. He in first appears in The Lord of the Rings books and pairs with the Fellowship of the Ring to save the Middle Earth from a dark lord. He is also a great warrior, an amazing archer and a very good friend. Eventually, becomes the best friend of a dwarf named Gimli, even thought dwarves and elves hate each other.
