No, it isn't. personification is giving human traits to non-humans. Foxes can already stare, but if you said "the fox spoke", that would be an example of personification.

No, I don't think so. Because we the humans also stare at things. Personification is mainly for non living thing. Like for example." The car coughed and finally started." Now that's an example of personification. Because we cough not a car.
