The agreement between Germany, Austria-Hungry and Italy that lasted from 1882 until the beginning of world war one is known as Triple Alliance. In the alliance, all the three countries promised to help each other in case of an attack by any other country. In response to the triple alliance France, Russia and United Kingdom formed the Triple Entente. There were many strong and weak points of this alliance, The positive points were that two of the most powerful and industrialised countries were the member of it. The negative point was that in case of outbreak of war they would be encircles by the countries of Triple Entente and it would lead to the division of the troops of the alliance. This division of the troops made the the Germans weaker during the first world war.
