Well, several ideas that developed during the renaissance became the basic Ideas of Scientific Revolutions.

For example, the Cart That's created by the Romans became the basic idea in designing the first Cars, a lot of painters such as Da Vinci, created a lot of technological designs for weapons, vehicles, and buildings, etc.

In relation to the atmosphere of the Cold War, communism greatly influenced contemporary geopolitics and the timeline of the Cold War. It brought to the United States and the Soviet Union to the brink of nuclear war that had become the daily fear in American society and elsewhere.
